The Chairman of the Asharqia Chamber, Abdul-Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi, said that we, as citizens and businessmen, are proud of this great success, and this exemplary performance for our country in managing the G20 summit, which our country managed from a distance, over a period of two full days efficiently and competently, in light of the pandemic conditions and what it imposed Of exceptional measures, our country was fortunate to the world’s attention, and though it led the leaders of the Group of Twenty to lay down a roadmap that addresses the crises of the present and foreshadows the prospects for a promising future for the entire world, extending its thanks and appreciation to the wise leadership - may God protect it - for what it offers for the sake of the elevation of our country and its high status among nations. 

Al-Khalidi referred to the messages of reassurance sent by the shrine of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, through his speech to open the summit, saying: It is a word with patriarchal contents to the various peoples of the world, confirming on the one hand that the Kingdom is the country of humanity, which places the human being, his protection and empowerment. Providing his decent livelihood is a priority placed on the agenda of world leaders' work, and on the other hand, it came as a call to strengthen the idea of cooperation and solidarity between countries in facing the Corona pandemic, and to intensify efforts to overcome it and make it a thing of the past, and work to seize opportunities, and create global conditions to achieve a sustainable economy.​

Al-Khalidi stressed that this summit represented a particularly great challenge that our country was able to pass and achieve success in its outputs to achieve the aspirations of the peoples of the world, pointing to the topics and axes it was based on of great importance to the whole world, such as empowering people and preserving the planet. Allowing more room in terms of technology innovation and technical progress.​
